By Aeroplane
Australia’s major domestic carriers Qantas, Virgin Blue and
Jetstar fly direct daily to Sunshine Coast Airport and Brisbane
Domestic Airport. Both airports offer many options for transfer
to Mooloolaba. Rental Cars, limousines and Airport transfers are
available with Sun-Air Bus Service operating 16 scheduled door to
door services each day from Brisbane Airport (80 minutes), and regular
services from Sunshine Coast Airport (20 minutes).
By Car
Mooloolaba is just north of Brisbane via the Bruce Highway. Travelling
time from Brisbane City Centre - 80 minutes. The dual carriage highway
passes through scenic pine forests past the spectacular Glass House
Mountains.
By Bus
Intercity coach services operate between Brisbane City and Mooloolaba.
Interstate coaches stop at Nambour Interchange. Sunshine Coast Sunbus
services connect to Mooloolaba.
By Boat
Mooloolaba Harbour is one of the safest ports on the East Coast
of Australia. A protected river mouth capable of handling maxi yachts
with 12-14 ft draught. The Yacht Club and The Wharf offers excellent
marina facilities, in the heart of Mooloolaba.
By Train
Electric trains travel several times a day to and from Brisbane
into Nambour, linking with Sunshine Coast Sunbus connections to
Mooloolaba. Long distance train services operate to the north and
south from Nambour. Travelling time from Nambour to Mooloolaba -
20 minutes. |
